Service Description

The sea of Cortez is one of the most iconic dive sites in Mexico. We will have the possibility to dive with pelagic life in any moment. Because we love to go local, we have desgined a trip so you get to know two different locations of the Gulf of California, Cabo Pulmo and La Paz. Where you will have the change to know the best dive sites and the best local food. We will start with Cabo Pulmo, a tiny village just over an hour drive from San Jose del Cabo. This is a beautiful and remote corner of the world, where mountains meet the beautiful bay, and has been protected from all commercial fishing since 1995. We will dive 2 times a day in sites full of nutrient-rich water that attracts hundreds of some of the worlds most stunning marine creatures. Cabo Pulmo is a remarkable success story of marine conservation. We will get to see and learn about these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. Thanks to the participation of the community, Cabo Pulmo has become a great example for creating a truly sustainable touristic development. With no high-end hotels, the accommodations are simple eco- cabanas owned and operated by the locals. We will have fresh bread, hot coffee and a delicious homemade brunch waiting for us after the morning dives. The fabulous diving is not the only spectacle in Cabo Pulmo. You will be energized when hiking the desert-like landscape surrounded by mountains while experiencing magical and amazing sunsets from atop the high hills. We will have an expert guide leading the way on these easy going evening expeditions. Our second stop will be in La Paz, a beautiful and quiet mexican town where will have the chance to dive in the biggest sea lion colony in Mexico and explore the amaing wrecks and reefs they have. The best season to dive in the sea of Cortes is from October to December, because the visibility and temperature of the water are ideal for scuba diving. YOUR TRIP INCLUDES: -4 days of 2 tank boat dive (8 dives total). Two days in Cabo Pulmo and two days in La Paz. -Snacks and water on board -5 nights shared accommodations in Eco-friendly Cabanas.
